Creme & Lau

La Maison

On craft.
On restraint.

La Maison

Crème et Lau was conceived as a maison, not a shop. The word matters. A maison implies a standard of care, a philosophy of craft, and a point of view that does not adjust itself to market conditions or seasonal food trends. We make what we believe in.

The team behind the maison comes from fine dining, from pastry kitchens in Paris and Tokyo, and from a shared belief that the details are not secondary. The details are the product.

We are not trying to replicate the experience of a Parisian pâtisserie in a different city. We are making something specific to this place, this team, and this idea of what a maison should feel like.

Our Pillars

On craft.

Every piece in the case was made here this morning. There are no shortcuts, no frozen sheets, no outsourced components. This is the foundation everything else is built on.

On restraint.

The menu is small because it is curated. We do not believe in abundance for its own sake. We believe in doing a few things at the highest possible level.

On occasion.

Crème et Lau was built for moments worth marking: a quiet lunch alone, a first anniversary, a business introduction made over coffee and éclair. We take these seriously.
